This is, I believe, my first retirement cake.  The lucky fellow worked at Delta Airlines, so it was only natural to make an airplane for him.  A yummy airplane too, vanilla cake with raspberry preserves and swiss meringue butter cream wrapped up in fondant.  Happy retirement!
